    AMEN. If you have enough marketing money you can convince a LOT of people your product is the best. Take Bose for example.

    Yeah, that what we always said.

    However..... Back in the early 90s I toured with a set of Bose powered speakers. The were called Acoustimass before they name was applied to the consumer line. Looked like an overgrown Bose 802 but with a 12" woofer inside the box, and the amp + crossover in there too. Still used the array of small cones on a curve for the mids and highs. They were really quite good and I enjoyed running them. They were the only pair I've ever seen.
